Looking for something to do this Saturday May 8? Head over to Hanover Airport, 11152 Airpark Rd. Ashland, VA 23005, for the 2010 Operation Cow Drop sponsored by Chick-Fil-A. It's a family fun day that starts at 11 am and goes to 3 pm. The actual cow drop is at 1:30 pm. If you haven't bought a ticket yet you can still do so at the event until 1 pm or call 928-8848 for participating non-profit groups. There are a ton of great prizes being given away, Disney Family Vacation, Romp & Roll Bday Party, 32" TV just to name a few. The activities that will be there include a a live concert by Silly Bus, Clowns, face painting, a petting zoo, inflatables and much more. I've never been but it sounds like fun. Who wouldn't like to see a bunch of stuffed cows parachuting from the sky?
