Free Admission to Lewis Ginter on July 4

On Sunday, July 4, Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden offers FREE ADMISSION to celebrate freedom and to show our appreciation to the community. The Garden is open 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. and guests are invited to wear red, white & blue and bring wagons and strollers for a parade around the Children’s Garden.

Activities in the Children’s Garden: 1 – 4 p.m.

* 1 – 4 p.m. Live concert by the Happy Lucky Combo — a favorite of kids & adults!
* 1 – 2 p.m. Decorate strollers and wagons for parade (decorations under the tent in the Children’s Garden)
* 2 – 2:30 p.m. Parade in the Children’s Garden

Guests can also enjoy gardening and craft activities in the Children’s Garden throughout the day, including WaterPlay and other favorite features such as Sand Play, the Tree House and International Village.
