Our garden is slowly coming to an end. We only have tomatoes and peppers left. It was a good year. Lots of yummy vegetables!
We haven't been using the tomatoes as fast as we were so I decided it was time I canned some. I'm no expert in canning. It's only my second season trying it. I had just one hiccup - forgot to screw the lids on, figured that out fast. I ended up with 3 jars. It's nice knowing where your food comes from. When the rest of our tomatoes turn red I will can them too. Hopefully no hiccups next time :)
